Pictures online are a good start, but nothing beats walking into a building, checking the ceiling height and opening the doors yourself. Backyard Barns and Beyond has three sales lots in Brunswick County: Leland, Winnabow and Ocean Isle Beach. Here’s what to expect when you stop by.
Where are the Backyard Barns and Beyond sales lots?
We have three lots: 3070 Andrew Jackson Hwy in Leland, 6335 Ocean Hwy E in Winnabow and 6294 Ocean Hwy W in Ocean Isle Beach.
Each lot has finished buildings set up so you can see real sizes and styles side by side instead of guessing from a floor plan.
Do all three lots have the same buildings?
No. Each lot has its own inventory, so the buildings at Leland are different from the buildings at Winnabow.
If you have your eye on a specific building, check that lot’s page in our online store first, or call us at (910) 240-2276 and we’ll tell you which lot it’s on.
When are the lots open?
Our team is on hand Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Can’t make it during business hours? You’re welcome to browse the lots after hours, too. Take photos, jot down the building numbers you like, and give us a call the next business day.
What should I bring to the lot?
Bring a rough idea of the spot where the building will go and what you plan to store in it.
A few things that help:
- Measurements of your space. Know the length and width of the area, plus any trees, fences or overhead lines nearby.
- A list of what goes inside. Mowers, bikes, tools, workbench, kayaks. Picturing your gear inside a real building is the fastest way to pick the right size.
- Photos of the site. They help our team talk through delivery and placement with you.
- A tape measure. Handy for checking door openings against your largest equipment.
What should I look at inside a building?
Focus on how you’ll actually use it: door width, interior height, loft space and where shelves or a workbench would go.
Walk in, close the doors, and imagine it full. Check whether your riding mower or trailer clears the door opening. Look at window placement for natural light. If you’re comparing two sizes, stand in both. Many people find that the next size up is the one that keeps the garage clear for good.
Can I buy a building right off the lot?
Yes. The buildings on our lots are available to purchase, and our team can walk you through the next steps right there.

How can I pay for my building?
You can pay outright or use our rent-to-own program, with No Credit Check and terms of 36, 48 or 60 months.
Rent to own lets you get the building you need now and pay over time. Ask our team at the lot to go over the details for the building you choose.
What happens after I pick a building?
We schedule delivery. Delivery is free within 30 driving miles of the lot.

Is my building covered after I buy it?
Yes. Our buildings come with a 5-year warranty plus the manufacturer’s warranty. Windows are covered for 7 days.

No appointment is needed during business hours, and you can browse after hours on your own. Call ahead if you want a specific building held in mind for you.
Which lot should I visit?
Visit the lot closest to you, or the one that has the building you want. Since Leland and Winnabow have separate inventory, it’s worth checking the online store before you drive.
Can I see metal buildings at the lots?
Yes. Display metal buildings are set up at all three lots: Leland, Winnabow and Ocean Isle Beach. Come see one in person. As an authorized dealer, we can also help you design a metal building to fit your property.
Is delivery free?
Delivery is free within 30 driving miles. Call us for anything farther out.
Do I need good credit for rent to own?
No. Our rent-to-own program is No Credit Check, with 36, 48 or 60 month terms.
